Leo Baeck Institute supports new research on German-Jewish culture and history through a number of programs aimed at Ph.D. candidates and academics working on topics related to the German-Jewish community in a variety of disciplines.

Because of the power-outage related closures and email disruptions at LBI following Hurricane Sandy, the November 2012 deadline for fellowship applications has been extended until November 14, 2012. Applications sent by email after October 28 may not have been received.  Please resubmit your application if you are in doubt as to whether it was received.

For questions about the fellowship programs, contact Dr. Frank Mecklenburg, Director of Research.
